I thank You for these words that were found on the website of LaCroix Church of Cape Girardeau, MO.
Father, when we are discouraged by experiences in our life, we lean on the comforting words of others. There are few things that can uplift our spirit like words such as “I know. I understand. I’ve been there.” The sharing and reading of testimonies is, essentially, the act of people leaning upon one another, letting each other know that You do rescue people.
I ask that You create new testimonies at LaCroix Church. I pray that You will encourage people within the congregation to share their testimonies with one another and with despairing people outside the church. I thank You that this church has already expressed the importance of testimony-sharing on their website. Please bless their prayer, Stephen, assistance and recovery ministries.
