The police are often criticized, especially by those who would prefer not to obey the law. There are many who are feeling increasingly threatened by the militarization of the police. However, when law abiding citizens feel threatened or are in danger, they are relieved that there are hundreds of thousands of dedicated and honorable men and women in police departments around the country who will rush to their aid.
We ask you for the following blessings on the West Whiteland PA police department:
- The police officers will understand their authority comes from You and they consider themselves accountable to You for it.
- The police officers will be faithful to defend the constitution and the freedoms our nation holds dear.
- The police officers will have wisdom and insight as they seek to do their job
- The police officers will seek truth and justice, without partiality or favoritism.
- The police officers will prove themselves to be men and women of honor.
- The police officers will be protected from harm as they defend and serve the local community.
- The police officers will rescue people from danger, especially those on the verge of losing their life.
- The police officers relationship with the people of the local community will grow in trust.
- The police officers will help to diffuse crisis situations and direct individuals and families to places where they can get help.
- The police officers will have a positive influence on the youth in the community, helping to steer them away from a life of crime.
- The police officers will be honored and rewarded for their sacrifices and the risks they take.
